The Business Social Compliance Initiative is a leading business-driven initiative for companies committed to improving working conditions in factories and farms worldwide. BSCI unites more than 1,500 companies around a development-oriented system applicable to all sectors and sourcing countries.

The "Carbon Performance Improvement Initiative” (CPI2) is an initiative of retailers and brands aiming to be front runners in climate protection. CPI2 offers a unique, action driven and powerful approach to reduce the carbon footprint of products. The initiative supports manufacturers to use energy more efficiently.

The Alliance for Bangladesh Worker Safety was founded by a group of North American apparel companies and retailers and brands who have joined together to develop and launch the Bangladesh Worker Safety Initiative, a binding, five-year undertaking that will be transparent, results-oriented, measurable and verifiable with the intent of improving safety in Bangladeshi ready-made garment (RMG) factories. Collectively, these Alliance members represent the overwhelming majority of North American imports of ready-made garments (RMG) from Bangladesh, produced at more than 580 factories.

The Accord is an independent, legally binding agreement between brands and trade unions designed to work towards a safe and healthy Bangladeshi RMG industry. The purpose of the Accord is to enable a working environment in which no worker needs to fear fires, building collapses, or other accidents that could be prevented with reasonable health and safety measures.

The Compliance Practitioners Association (CPA) is an independent, self-regulating membership body for Social Compliance Auditors (SCAs). Through the creation of a transparent forum for qualifications, professional development, collaboration and code of ethical behaviour, the  vision of CPA is to provide the business environment with visibility to industry practitioners that operate and behave to a known self-regulating standard.

The World Federation of the Sporting Goods Industry (WFSGI) is the world authoritative body for the sports industry officially recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) as the industry representative within the Olympic Family. The WFSGI is an independent association with no objective of economic character for its own gain and formed by sports and sports-inspired leisure brands, manufacturers, suppliers, retailers, national/regional federations, industry and trade associations and all sporting goods industry related businesses.
